A rich, thick, smooth cup of hot chocolate from Burdick's can do wonders for your soul, if not your corporeal self. When I tasted the darkish drink yesterday, I felt a pleasant sweetness wash over me. I paused: was it overpowering? Was it overdone? No, I realized. It was just right, just a smidgen over the thin line separating mildly sweet and sharply, cloyingly sweet.
