On the Road in Lowell
Kerouac’s original On the Road scroll manuscript will be on display at the Boott Cotton Mills Museum of the Lowell National Historical Park starting June 15, and will run through September 14, 2007. The exhibit will coincide with the 50th anniversary of the publication of On the Road, recognized as one of the classic novels of modern American literature.
The event kicks off on June 15th, 2007 with the exhibition opening celebration from 6-9pm.

16th | 10-12pm Curator’s Tour with "Keeper of the Scroll" - Jim Canary,talks about the tour and the installation of the scroll. |

9:30 - 11:30am Kerouac Bus Tour/ Jack Kerouac Historic Home Dedication. Tour Kerouac's Lowell,and end up at the home where Kerouac spent much of his youth,for a special ceremony dedicating a commemorative plaque.
